Having experienced a divorce myself, I can speak from a place of total transparency that I know how it feels to be devastated by a failed relationship; where promises were not kept and “true” love was thwarted and abandoned.
Without Jesus, the true lover of my soul, I never could have survived the loss!! Today, I am grateful to be lavished by the love of JESUS and his powerful, healing, restorative grace!!! Truly, the Lord has paid me back for the years the locusts have eaten! (Joel 2:25)
Jesus Christ himself has TOTALLY captivated my heart and everything else is a result of the overflow of this relationship with the lover of my soul! Amen!! ❤️
My new marriage of almost 6 years now…is more secure and blessed, knowing that grace can heal the broken places where we fall short in our best efforts to love one another well–for no one is capable of loving perfectly–only Jesus can love like that! Being in relationship with Jesus helps both my husband and I to love one another with passion, commitment and grace. I am so grateful to now understand, that we can receive from Jesus the unconditional love we sometime fail to give. It’s an incredible place to be–surrendered, loved, healed and SET FREE by the unfailing love of Christ!?
I do not take this beautiful gift for granted–this personal relationship with Jesus–I keep the “love fire’s burning” everyday by continually choosing to come and sit before the Lord in prayer, worship and feasting on His words of hope and truth. ?
Truly, it is a MIRACLE to receive this kind of unconditional, unfailing, persevering, adoring love!! Jesus–your GRACE AMAZES ME!!!❤️❤️❤️?
