Beautiful. Peaceful. Powerful.

What a perfect way to wrap up our day! The Sea of Galilee sits like a lake, surrounded by the hills.  The sun was just beginning to set as we arrived. I reached for my camera and cell phone and began to take pictures. Stunning–simply awe-inspiring was the view from this high, look out point.

Straight ahead: Mount Tabor–the Mount of Transfiguration! The sun was setting right over this incredible Biblical landmark!  WOW WOW WOW!!!!

As the sun began to set, beautiful twinkling lights began to appear all over the hills–it felt like Christmas had arrived early!

Just before the sun went down, my husband Greg I and were able to have our picture taken. Then, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn joined us for worship and a message. He is so humble and full of joy!!!

Rabbi Cahn spoke of the people of Zebulon and Naphtali, who dwelt in the hills surrounding the Sea of Galilee. They were considered outcasts–and yet the Lord chose this region to begin his ministry! Isn’t that like our King Jesus? He loves to redeem, restore and heal the broken hearted! ❤️

As we lifted our voices in Acapella worship, we sang the song “Shout to the Lord” and the tears began to fall….this was a  very, very special moment in time that will forever be written on my heart!
