A Journey of Faith

A Journey of Faith

Remembering Christmas six years ago, with my husband Greg, singing at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN. My how things have changed! Two years prior,  I had just come out of a horrific divorce and chose to surrender my life to Jesus, recognizing that without his grace, we are nothing.

In 2013, One year later,  I was rebaptized and officially severed all ties with my former religious denomination:  Mormonism.

In 2014, I obeyed the Lord, left my pursuit of a country music career, closed two thriving businesses and launched Be Free In Christ Ministry with a desire to pour into women the love and grace Jesus has lavished upon me.  I was healed from 3 autoimmune diseases at a ministers gathering that same year. Hallelujah!!!! Thank you JESUS!!!

In 2015 I began holding women’s retreats in Ellijay, GA to help hurting, broken women experience the love and grace of Jesus  Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit…so they could BE FREE! Then my husband’s cancer diagnosis came, along with supernatural healing from 12 ministers of God after a Christmas party. Thank you, Jesus!!!

In 2016 my husband Greg and I obeyed the Lord and relocated our ministry to the mountains of North GA where by the grace of God, were able to purchase 100 acres of land in Ellijay, GA to grow our retreats! By this time we had held 10 beautiful life transforming women’s retreats where women experienced inner and healing and in some cases physical healing, and greater freedom by receiving the truth of grace: that we are saved by our faith! We also held several private retreats for other Ministries.

2017 was spent finishing my seminary training and ministry certification while attending ministry conferences and networking with local churches in our new mountain community. We wrapped up our 15th retreat with an unprecedented season of retreats offering The Esther Anointing, Freedom In Christ and Deborah Anointing retreats. What JOY!!!

2018 has been the most challenging year for our family. Everything that could come against us to throw us off course has occurred, but we are standing firm in Jesus Name!!! Full of highs and lows—this was a make it or break it year for us. God is faithful !!!

At the close of this very wonderful and challenging year, Greg and I chose to center ourselves by taking a pilgrimage trip to Israel together for our 7th wedding anniversary during the Fall Feast of Tabernacles: The HARVEST.  We will never be the same!!! Our experience in Israel will continue to bless us for the rest of our lives!

We are eager to press in as continue to be faithful to what God has called us to do: impart the healing love and grace of Jesus Christ into broken peoples lives that they may walk in greater freedom, grace, victory and love  Hallelujah!!!

2019 is going to be a big year. I have a book release coming, a book tour and a new worship CD as well by the end of the year. We are believing for our Worship Barn to be built by 2020 on our 100 acres so we can gather people together to worship our Lord in total freedom, joy, and love, inviting the Holy Spirit to move among us with TOTAL freedom—for THE LORD is the Spirit and where the Spirit is the Lord is there is FREEDOM!!

Until then, Greg and I will continue to offer our monthly Nights of Worship and quarterly women’s retreats. After the new year, we will gather on Sunday afternoons here at our smaller Creekside ministry retreat center with families to share a message, worship together and enjoy a fellowship dinner. Please join us!

Please keep us in your prayers! We believe in faith that the Lord is bringing to pass the good work he has begun!!! Our job is to simply say: YES LORD!!!!

Merry Christmas!

In Christ,

Greg Gronholm and Ashley Gronholm
